Kristin Haines Director of Underwriting

As Director of Underwriting, Kristin orchestrates the overall underwriting process for IBC. With over 15 years of industry experience, she has extensive experience in reading medical records, understanding health impairments and the effect they have on a person’s insurability. After reviewing individuals medical records to ensure that their issues are being represented fairly to our select group of insurance carriers, she will negotiate to ensure our clients receive the best rating available. Kristin graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Communications. She currently holds her Pennsylvania Life and Health license and is pursuing her ALU designation through the Academy of Life Underwriting. Kristin is also involved with the Underwriting Staff Alliance and the Southeast Elite Underwriting Group. In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children and cheering on the Steelers.
